“Now I have given you the teaching, there are the trees, there are the roots of the trees. Go meditate there, seek solace in the forest, lest you regret it later.”
Over 2500 years ago, at the end of his teachings, this is what the Buddha would say.
He was asking us to head outdoors, to engage with nature, to benefit from it’s peace, and it’s connectedness.
There, outdoors, we will find ourselves, and the true meaning of our lives.
Get outdoors. Whatever the weather, you’ll feel alive. It’s the most amazing way to practice meditation.
